(Read
the Cincinnati
Enquirer article about Rev. Keith Haithcock, entitled "Church Pastor,
Gay Man".) Pastor Keith Haithcock,
a native of Kentucky, has committed his life to serving the local church. He has
a passion for helping congregations find honest, meaningful and real ways to live
out the mission of God of welcoming all people regardless of their background,
breaking down the barriers that many churches build. He is committed to helping
people find their wholeness in the light of Christ. On
February 1, 1999, Keith Haithcock became the Designated Pastor of St. John UCC.
He served in this capacity for two years. On February 1, 2001, he became the called
Pastor and Teacher of St. John UCC. Under Pastor Keith's leadership, St. John
UCC has grown and reached beyond many barriers. Many have found a place of welcome
and hospitality. In a mix of established and new members and friends of St. John
UCC Pastor Keith believes we are building a foundation to grow a radically inclusive
Church that will share the light of Christ with all. The Cincinnati Enquirer featured
Pastor Keith in a 2001 article entitled "Church Pastor, Gay Man". Pastor
Keith invites you to join this small yet vibrant congregation in turning the world
upside down with the light of Christ that invites, welcomes and includes all of
us. There is a new generation rising at St. John UCC, a generation without the
judgement and rigidity of religion. A generation that believes all things are
possible. This is a place for people - like you - to find their full potential. Congregations
