Maundy Thursday / Tenebrae Service
April 1st @ 7:30 P.M.
Holy Thursday Worship ending with Tenebre Service (Service of Darkness)
We will celebrate Holy Communion as a part of the special service. This service leads us from the Last Supper, when Jesus washed the Disciples feet in an act of service, to when the disciples disserted Jesus in the Garden and led to his arrest and crucifixion. The service ends in complete silence and darkness. Plan to make this part of your Holy Week observance.
Good Friday Passion Service
April 2nd @ Noontime: 12:10 to 12:50 P.M.
A 40-minute dramatic Passion reading with piano, guitar impressionist, hymns and prayers.
After 40 days in the wilderness during the season of Lent we move to the hope of Easter Sunday - the day of Resurrection. This service is the highlight of the worship for the disciples of Jesus. It is on this day that we celebrate God's victory over sin and darkness in the world by over coming death through the resurrection of Jesus the Christ. The choir will bring offerings of music, the congregation will sing hymns of praise, our Director of Music, Brad Caldwell, will lead us in service music, and Pastor Keith will officiate at Holy Communion and bring a sermon of hope for our world and our lives today. There will be a nursery provided for infants and toddlers and A Special Time for Kids in the service. Bring a friend with you on this special day.
