St. John United
Church of Christ welcomes the community to the 8th annual Music
on the Avenue Series. This series features a wide variety of jazz and classical
music, showcasing promising young talent as well as nationally- and internationally-recognized
professional artists. The St. John UCC sanctuary offers a rich acoustical environment,
and features a traditional pipe organ and grand piano.
The series consists of five recitals held on consecutive Friday evenings between
February 2, 2007 and March 2, 2007. All performances begin at 8
p.m. and are free to the public. An opening night reception and art showing will
take place following the February 2nd concert.
